Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott wasn’t happy to hear from a driver after last Thursday’s loss to the Buccaneers, but the interaction didn’t faze Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
The driver said “embarrassingAs Prescott walked by him in an AT&T Stadium tunnel, Prescott responded by sarcastically calling the driver, who does not work for the team, a “tough guy” before adding, “get your ass out of here.” During an appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Jones said he’s fine with people speaking their minds.
“I didn’t pay much attention to it it doesn’t affect me at all,” Jones said. “The driver in question was not an employee. Fans can and should express themselves. Whether he was our employee or not, he was a fan, as it sounds. So I’m all for our fans expressing themselves.”
The rest of Jones’ radio appearance focused on what the Cowboys can do on the field to make future expressions from the fan base a little more positive.
