Cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and Jamel Dean were both on the Steelers’ injury report to open Week 6.
Ramsey did not train due to a wrist injury. That was the case in Week 5, but Ramsey returned for limited practice the rest of the week and had nine tackles in their win over the Colts.
Dean was inactive for that game with an ankle injury, but he was limited in Wednesday’s practice and that could bode well for his chances to play against the Buccaneers this week.
Rico Dowdle’s (foot) run was also limited after missing last Sunday’s game. Safety DeShon Elliott (knee) and linebacker TJ Watt (rest) were the other Steelers in the limited category.
Wide receivers Roman Wilson (finger) and Ben Skowronek (calf) did not practice and are ruled out for the week. Defensive linemen Keeanu Benton (ankle) and Cam Heyward (rest) were also out of practice.
