Toxic Attraction emerged as a dominant force on WWE NXT, with Mandy Rose leading the on-screen faction alongside Jaycee Jane and Gigi Dolin (aka Priscilla Kelly). According to Jane, Rose’s leadership also translated behind the scenes.
during a recent interview with Denise SalcedoJane talked about the valuable lessons she learned from Rose, who was a WWE veteran at the time.
“I learned how to be comfortable in my own skin,” Jane said. “I learned that playing a character, in and of itself, is not going to play out the way you imagine it on screen. It’s more about finding who you are and applying that to everything, in every situation. Mandy honestly really taught me that because there is no one who is more confident and comfortable in her own skin than Mandy. He was always the nicest person behind the scenes. He is the complete opposite, if he could he would give me the shirt off his back about how to act off screen.
Rose, Jane and Dolin first teamed up in the summer of 2021 after the former left the WWE main roster to return to the NXT brand. This move worked for everyone because Rose captured the NXT Women’s Championshipwhile Jayne and Doline enjoyed two reigns as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. But it wasn’t until the end of the group’s run that Jane said she felt really comfortable.
The toxic attraction helped Jane become comfortable in her own skin and eventually lead her own faction.
“I was indie, but I was indie for a very short time, so I didn’t really have a big name,” Jane said. “I wasn’t a crazy athlete. I never went to college. I was literally just an indie wrestler. There was nothing special about it for me. So I feel like I had to work 10 times harder to figure out who I am and how I’m going to fit into this group. I feel like it wasn’t really until our second title that I started Toxic. To reign, even after we lost the titles, I feel like it’s been at least a year, I feel good.
Toxic Attraction dropped from 2022 final trio to duo Due to Rousey’s abrupt departure from WWE. Months later, Dollin and Jane broke up because of themselves the latter’s on-screen betrayal.
Jane now runs her own stable known as Fatal Influence on the WWE SmackDown brand. This group also started in NXT, with Fallon Henley, Jazmin Nicks and Jane as founding members. When Nyx left WWE in the fall of 2025, Laney Reed replaced him.
With the Fatal Influence at her side, Jane captured the NXT Women’s Championship on two separate occasions, as well as the TNA Knockouts World and WWE Women’s United States Titles, the latter of which she currently holds. Henley and Reid fill her in as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
