Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell shared a “brilliant” update days later. Terrible neck injury against the Minnesota Vikings.
Campbell was injured in a scrimmage during Sunday’s game against Minnesota and after a long stretch on the field at Ford Field, he was stabilized on a stretcher and taken to the hospital for further evaluation and testing. The group’s updates were factual, reflecting their desire to honor his and his family’s wishes.
On Wednesday, Campbell shared a lengthy update on social media, saying he has “full range of motion” in his lower body and “continues to improve in range of motion” in his upper body. Campbell thanked the athletic trainers and medical staff, as well as the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital, who responded to the injury on the play.
