Ireland will host England at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin in a blockbuster Round 4 of the 2027 Guinness Women’s Six Nations.
Earlier this year, Scott Bemand’s team played their first independent game at the stadium against Scotland and welcomed a record audience of 31,294 people. In the same championship, world champions the Red Roses hosted Ireland at the Allianz Stadium and saw a crowd of 77,120 make their way to west London.
It has also been confirmed that Ireland will play against Round 2 France will be hosted at the Dexcom Stadium in Galway. Ireland won last weekend Japan 31-24 on the field and achieved their first victory WXV Global Series 2026
Erin King, Ireland captain, said: “Playing at the Aviva Stadium last season was an incredible and meaningful experience for the group and we’re really excited to be returning to the Home of Irish Rugby in 2027.
“Having that record audience behind us and feeling the support from the moment we lost our jobs was really special and we want to continue to build that connection with our fans and bring more people, young and old, to our Green Wave.
“We are also looking forward to the return of international rugby to the Dexcom Stadium and Galway, where we enjoyed brilliant support in last season’s Guinness Women’s Six Nations.
“These are the kind of opportunities you want to be involved in as a player, and with two big home games against France and England coming up in 2027, there is huge motivation for us as a group to create opportunities and performances that will inspire and excite our Green Wave.”
Ireland will start its Guinness Women’s in 2027 Six Nations campaign against Scotland in Edinburgh Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Their 3rd round match against Wales will be held at Cardiff Arms Park. The place for their 5th round clash with Italy yet to be confirmed.
This weekend Bemand’s team will take on Japan in a non-WXV Global Series game in Cork. So far this fall, the fifth-ranked team in the world has lost to USA Women’s Eagles and beat Japan in Galway.
