His younger brother, Alberth Bahamondesscored a violent knockout in the first round Contender series veteran Joey Hart LFA 245 “Featured Bout” at the Seneca Niagara Event Center in Niagara Falls, New York this past weekend (Friday, October 30, 2026).
After feinting for the opening minute and studying Hart’s reactions, Bahamondes suddenly exploded forward with a crisp one-two combination. Hart immediately found himself backing away as “La Jaulita” swarmed him with another flurry of punches.
The pressure proved too great.
Bahamondes dropped Hart to the canvas and followed with several unanswered ground and pound strikes, forcing the referee to intervene.
Not a bad way to introduce yourself to the LFA.
Bahamondes improved his pro record to 8-1 at just 18 years old, with older brother Ignacio in his corner to watch the latest addition to the family’s highlight reel. The Chilean prospect has now won three straight fights after suffering the only loss of his career by split decision.
All eight of his professional wins have come by stoppage, including seven in the first round.
LFA has long been one of the UFC’s most reliable developmental pipelines, and it’s likely that Bahamondes will eventually follow his brother into the Octagon if he continues to make appearances like this. However, at just 18 years old, there is no reason to rush his development.
As for Hart (9-5), the loss snapped his two-game winning streak. He is now 3-3 after competing for a UFC contract Contender series.
