A great man Isaiah Stewart suffered a moderate left ankle sprain in the first quarter of Monday’s preseason game at Atlanta and will be reevaluated in two weeks, Grizzlies declared (via Twitter).

Based on the re-evaluation schedule, Stewart will miss not only the remainder of the preseason, but also the start of the regular season. Memphis’ regular season opener is Oct. 21, and the team’s second game is scheduled for Oct. 23, exactly two weeks from today.

Still to come…
