A huge brawl broke out at ADCC 2026involving Dorian Olivarez and his famous teammate and coach, Gordon Ryan.
One of the favorites of the 66 kg tournament in Olivarez finished Bezkat Kapashov in the opening round of a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) match that was particularly heated and physical. Tensions flared immediately after the submission when Olivarez and his corner men faced off against a sizeable Kazakh team.
Things quickly escalated into quite a brawl involving Ryan, Olivarez and the entire Kapashov crew. Ryan was eventually seen punching three men on the ground in a chaotic scene.
ADCC officials eventually pulled people away from him to defuse the situation and the scuffle broke up after a minute. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
Olivarez can continue in the next round. Ryan was seen giving the officials a thumbs up as he immediately returned to his chair on the next mat as one of his many teammates on the card was still competing.
