Former WCW, ECW and WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio, real name Charles Skaggs, was sentenced Friday after a 2024 incident in which he admitted to stabbing a man while working as a security guard in Kansas City. Last month, Scaggs’ bail was revoked and he was jailed after he admitted to violating his bond by brandishing a firearm.
According to PWInsiderSkaggs pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and armed criminal action and sentenced to six years in prison. The newspaper reports that he has the option of immediate probation after completing the 120-day program, pending his June 2024 arrest due to a lack of criminal history.
Scaggs signed the plea back in August. He was initially charged with first-degree assault. His bond was revoked the following month because of the firearms incident. Court records at the time indicated Skaggs’ bond violation was a “threat to public safety.”
The high-flyer was first arrested at his workplace after an incident at a tourist center in Kansas City where he worked as a security guard. According to TMZ detailsSkeggs said he told a man to put out his cigarette. The man initially said he was subdued, but later admitted he may not have been. Skaggs, claiming self-defense, admitted to stabbing him and the victim was found with multiple wounds to the head, chest and stomach.
Skeggs last wrestled in August 2025. He teamed with Masha Slamovich and The Great Sasuke to defeat Alice Crowley, JP Grayson and Matt Cross in the GCW/JCW Two-Day War. He challenged Effie for the GCW World Championship two months ago and remained active on the independent scene for years.
