49ers coach Kyle Shanahan shared a long list of players who will not practice Wednesday in a press conference before the session.
The group includes linebacker Dre Greenlaw, left tackle Trent Williams and wide receiver Mike Evans. All three players were injured during last Sunday’s win over the Cardinals. Greenlaw has a fourth injury, Williams is dealing with a hamstring and Evans has a rib injury.
Shanahan said he hopes Evans will be able to practice by the end of the week.
Defensive end Nick Bosa missed the Cardinals game with a calf injury and will not practice Wednesday. Bosa is expected to miss more time with the injury, but will not be placed on injured reserve.
Defensive tackle James Thompson (ankle), linebacker Keion White (hamstring), wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge (knee) and running back Christian McCaffrey (rest) will also sit out the first practice of the week.
