Caleb Williams looked like an MVP candidate in Week 1 when he led a Chicago Bears offense that put up 59 points on the board against the Carolina Panthers.
But the combination of the weather in Chicago — and the Minnesota Vikings defense led by Brian Flores — led to an even tougher skid in Week 2.
And now the Bears quarterback could be dealing with a lower back injury.
Williams had to be helped off the field after a short run midway through the fourth quarter, and the injury brought backup Tyson Bagent into the game.

The only sound heard after the game was Williams screaming in pain as the Bears-heavy crowd at Soldier Field was stunned into silence. As soon as Bagent entered the game, Williams helped out.
To make matters worse, Chicago’s possession stalled when Williams was carted off to the locker room and a potential field goal was blocked.
