time WWE WrestleMania 40, The Rock returned to the ring for night one of the main event, teaming with Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Given that “Brahma Bull” was able to outlast everyone else in the ring, could he have one more match left to tie up loose ends? Bully Ray believes so.
“With all the muscle he’s put on, there’s going to be a lot less stress on him in the ring. Do I think he can get back into the ring the way he is now? Yes I do,” Bully Ray said.Destroyed open radioBully noted that Rock has shed significantly more muscle in the ring than he did in his prime, but that a lighter frame may help his performance.
The Rock has not been involved in any storylines since making John Cena turn heel as the storyline has changed greatly since then. While The Rock has almost completely transitioned to Hollywood, he has yet to officially retire and be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, which is why Bully thinks a final match could make sense. Assessing the potential match between The Rock and Reigns, Bully believes that doing so would be a missed opportunity for The Undertaker vs. On a Sting level that will never happen.
