Bully Ray Says Cody Rhodes Is ‘Really Close’ To Losing The WWE Fans

Cody Rhodes has been one of WWE’s best since his inception return to the company at WrestleMania 38. He has been the Undisputed Champion of the WWE many times, but recently many fans on the internet believe that his character is outdated.

Rhodes prepares for a sit-down interview on WWE SmackDown Refusing to headbutt Randy Orton in Sunday Night’s Main Eventone storyline won over many, including the hostsDestroyed open radio“He didn’t understand. Bully Ray said he thinks Rhodes is close to losing fans and he needs to get to the point of why he didn’t beat Orton on Friday’s show.

“In my eyes, he is so close to losing fans,” he said. “He’s so close. Little, little. So Cody has to do something and say something.”

Bully Ray and Dave LaGreca debated whether or not Rhodes should turn after previously saying in another chapter of his career that he never would. The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that “American Nightmare” was far from what he believes was his best childhood moment.

“Cody Rhodes has come a long way from the night he took off his robe in Hell in a Cell,” he said. “He’s as far removed from that moment in time as he’s ever been. The moment he takes off the robe and shows the world how screwed up his wrestling was…and the fact that he had no business wrestling, but he kept trucking. “This is what I’m willing to do for you.” Didn’t he hit Randy on the head from there? Night and day.”

The fans are rocking Rhodes

Bully Ray said that when stars spend too much time at the top of the card, they tend to get in over their heads. He said it’s easy to second guess yourself or even make bad decisions. He asked if Rhodes was in his head right now and said that if Rhodes was listening, forget about what he and La Greca said, but listen to the other voices.

“As far as fans calling who are like Cody right now, and we’ve had a lot of them this week,” Bully Ray said. “We had a lot of people saying, “Ah, man. It becomes a struggle to stay a fan of Cody’s.”

He said Rhodes can always turn around to put it on the fans. Bully Rey explained that he would like to see Rhodes “celebrate the WWE Universe” by walking out to the ring and cutting a promo.

“Tell them I’m giving you a week,” he said. “To the 15,000 people in this arena tonight, I give you one week. To the millions watching at home in the US, I give you one week… Do you love me or hate me? I’ll be back at this same spot next Friday. It’s an interesting twist. “Don’t make a decision.”

La Greca said he thinks a lot of fans have already made up their minds, and Bully Ray agreed that’s why the SmackDown interview is important. He said Rhodes needed to make him understand why he didn’t take the opportunity to punch Orton and make him believe in him as a babyface again.
