After vowing to win the Undisputed WWE Championship during a heated SmackDown promo earlier this month, Randy Orton revived the idea that he could very well be on his way to a 15th world title. However, Orton failed to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match last week, leading people to question whether or not “The Viper” would actually reach that milestone.

Bully said he believed Orton would get a shot at the title, but right before he could hit the killer blow, his championship dreams would be dashed. “Just like you saw Randy Orton slide into that ring and into the ring at SummerSlam and cost Cody Rhodes that championship and RKO (him), you’re going to see Cody Rhodes slide in and do exactly what he told Michael Cole he said he would do. He stated before later suggesting that it could happen at next year’s WrestleMania.
this year, Orton has been more open about his championship ambitions, acknowledging how he is now tied with Triple H for 14 WWE titles, two ahead of Ric Flair and John Cena.. Some fans have pushed for Orton to team with Cena or Flair, but Orton said he would like to have another title shot to end his nearly 30-year pro wrestling career, especially because of how important the industry is to him and his family.
