Former NBA players Michael Beasley and Delonte West got into a sloppy brawl that lasted just over a minute last night (Friday, Oct. 16, 2026) in a Brand Risk 16 boxing match inside the Brand Risk Arena in Miami, Fla.
Believe it or not, this was the standout match on Saturday’s card filled with unknown influencers. At least Beasley and West are former professional athletes who achieved success at the highest level. They’re obviously a shell of their former selves, but it was still fun to watch a night featuring Bob Menery, the Little People and both Island Boys.
West, who had fallen on hard times in his everyday life, had no energy at the start of the fight. He did hit some haymakers and wild punches that got Beasley’s attention, but nothing that would stop the fight. Beasley used his length and strength to finally land a kick that sent West to the canvas. West appeared to be able to get to his feet, but he lay there until the referee intervened for a TKO timeout.
