Bare Knuckle Boxing is making its debut in Mexico at a pair of world championships.
BKB 59 is scheduled for September 19 at the Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana, with Julian “El Guerrero Mexicano” Fernandez defending the BKB World Super Cruiserweight Championship against former three-division champion Dan “Big Pod” Podmore in the main event. Fernandez enters the match with a 3-0 record, while Podmore is 9-4 with eight stops.
The vacant BKB World Flyweight Championship is also up for grabs when Cecy Ulloa of Tijuana takes on Andy “The CrAsian” Nguyen in the co-main event.
