Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints Preview
It’s up to the Superdome when the New Orleans Saints (1-2) and Atlanta Falcons (1-2) meet for a Week 4 matchup on Monday night football.
The Falcons were beaten by the Steelers and Panthers in a poor start to the season, but stopped the slide last week by beating the Packers at Lambeau Field.
The Saints, meanwhile, picked up a win at the Ravens amid losses at the hands of the Lions and Raiders.
Both sides need some consistency and rhythm to start making moves in the NFC South.
“We’ve only played three games. There’s nothing to panic about,” Saints tight end Juwan Johnson said.
“We’re playing very aggressive, very strong, very physical, very smart and very fast. There’s just a few things we can clean up and we’ll be fine.”
The Saints are without former Falcons defensive end Kaden Elliss, while running back Carl Granderson and defensive end Anfernee Jennings are also gone.
The game marks the 20th anniversary of the “Domecoming,” a landmark game played between the same two teams in 2006 that helped begin the revitalization of the city of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
