It September 23 “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Collision” series. September 26 All Elite Wrestling stars were the final stops on the road to AEW All Out 2026, but one man who wanted to make sure they got their moment in Chicago was Persephone as she issued an open challenge to the wrestling world.
After success defending his AEW TBS Championship against Hyan At Dynamite, the champion cut a promo alongside Dr. Britt Baker DMD stating that she wants to continue to prove why she’s one of the best wrestlers in the world and issued an open challenge for her TBS Championship this Saturday at All Out. Persephone joked that Maya World couldn’t answer the challenge because she wasn’t medically cleared, and noted that neither Hian nor Thunder Rosa could answer it, as she called both women “pathetic”. However, Hyan and Rosa will get their chance to exact revenge on both Persephone and Baker as they face off in a tag team match on the Sept. 30 episode of “Dynamite.”

As long as who can answer Persephone’s challenge, the entire AEW women’s roster has a chance to advance. However, there are a number of free agents and potential new signings that could also make a splash in AEW by debuting against Persephone.
Former TNA Knockouts World Champion Dani Luna has reportedly signed for the company and ready to make his debut for the company. Another former TNA Knockout Mara Sade is also set to become “All Elite” in the coming weeks, unless he’s already signed for the company, which is believed to be the case Official Sade website. Then there’s former WWE superstar Kyrie Sane, who has been a free agent for several weeks after his no-compete clause expired over the summer. Reportedly there were negotiations between Kairi and AEW In recent weeks, though, there’s been no news on whether he’ll be joining the company or making a one-off appearance.
