Welcome to Wrestling Inc’s live coverage of the second night of AAA TripleMania 34 from Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
The first night of TripleMania kicked off on Friday nightOmos defeated Rey Mysterio in the main event and one new champion was crowned as Los Perros del Mal, ending Los Psycho Circus’ World Trios reign at 664 days.
Tonight’s show will be headlined by Dominic Mysterio’s defense of the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano. Mysterio has been champion for 367 days since dethroning El Hijo del Vikingo at Worlds Collide last year, though this will be his fourth defense.
His last opponent was the Original El Grande Americano, Chad Gable, who was unmasked by the Americano in May and currently reigns as the WWE Intercontinental Champion.
Before that, Ray Phoenix will defend his AAA Cruiserweight title against Jack Cartwile, Minnie Vikingo and Nathan Frazier in a four-way format. Flamer will defend the women’s title against La Catalina; Roxanne Perez won on Saturday, establishing herself as the number one title contender at Worlds Collide.
The War Raiders will put their AAA World Tag Titles on the line in an open challenge. El Carnicero will fight Psycho Clown in a Mexican street fight. And for Copa Bardahl, there will be a 15-man competition. The last time Omos won the cup was last year.
TripleMania 34 night two is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM ET and will be available to watch on WWE’s YouTube channel.
