Mara Sade has reportedly signed with AEW.
Sade caused a bit of a stir by launching her own website As mentioned, the former WWE and TNA star was now with AEW, who has yet to officially debut or announce a signing. The site has been updated to remove the reference.
Combat option has since revealed that he has signed with the promotion, and it has been in the works for quite some time. AEW sources were said to expect him to join the company in the summer, and he was said to have signed a contract effective last week. The deal is reportedly a full-time salary deal, as opposed to a tiered deal.
The report states that Sade held talks with WWE when he hit free agency and offered to stay with TNA, eventually ending up with the company without a contract as part of the Knockouts TV Title tournament. She reached the quarterfinals of the said tournament, defeating Tasha Steltz in the opening round, before losing to Heather by Elegance.
Sade began his wrestling career in 2022 after signing a developmental contract with WWE. He rose to prominence on WWE NXT as Jakara Jackson, teaming with Lash Legend as part of the Meta-Four before departing in April 2025. He returned six months later, transitioning as a TNA star, ending up wrestling in NXT as Jakara Jackson and Mara Sade.
