England flanker Henry Pollock will sign a new contract with Northampton Saints tomorrow after boxing promoter Eddie Hearn let the cat out of the bag with an Instagram post.
Pollock, to whom he offered the job Newcastle The Red Bulls have been closing in on a new deal for the Gallagher PREM champion in recent weeks, despite him saying he was open to offers at a pre-season media session last week.

“I think for me you almost have to be quite selfish in that aspect, think about what’s right for you. If it’s to stay here, then that’s great. I’ll be here for however long it takes. If not, then I’ll be open to new opportunities,” he said.
But the end of the saga is now in sight as Hearn, who heads the Matches Talent Agency, tagged Pollock in the post with a signature emoji and wrote “tomorrow”, a clear sign that all was agreed.
Pollock, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is expected to sign a two-year deal that will see his wages rise to around £400,000 a year, up from the £150,000 his current contract is worth.
The looming end will come as a relief to Saints director of rugby Phil Dowson, who recently joked that “it would have been good to sort it out three weeks ago”.
Pollock’s England team-mate Tommy Freeman has already secured his future, while the club, who began the defense of their PREM crown against the Reds Bulls this weekend, they want to link scrum-half Archie McParland and loose forward Emmanuel Iyogun.
