September 17: Clever Media, based in Romania, has entered into an exclusive negotiation period with UC3 for media rights for UEFA club competitions in Moldova.
Clever Group expanded into Moldova with the launch of Prima TV Moldova, a general entertainment channel based on its Romanian channel format, and Cinemaraton Moldova, a cinema-themed channel broadcasting Romanian and Moldovan films.
The rights are for the 2027-31 cycle.
In Romania, Clever Media broadcasts the Prima Sport channels. Prima Sport shared the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League rights for Romania in the previous cycle with Digi Sport.
DIGI Romania is the preferred bidder/rights holder for the Champions League for the 2027-31 cycle. UC3 is a commercial rights joint venture between UEFA and European Football Clubs (EFC). Relevent Football Partners acts as UC3’s sales agency.
