UFC 4 night went down last night (Saturday, September 12, 2026) at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, which saw Jean Silva to beat Jose Delgado in the third round with a nice submission finish (see it again here). At the joint main event Brandon Moreno returned to his winning ways in defeat Joseph Morales through a split decision.
Biggest winner: Jean Silva
After a slow start that saw him go up in the opening round and go the first few minutes without landing a punch, Silva was able to turn up the heat. finish in the third round. It’s a nice bounce back win for the “Lord” who was knockout in his previous fight by Diego Lopes. While the win was impressive, the win didn’t come against a ranked fighter, so I don’t know how much it will do for him in the rankings. That said, a win is a win and Silva got the job done and is now preparing for a bigger fight to move on. He can always visit again Yair Rodriguez to fightbut there’s no telling what the UFC matchmakers have planned.
Runners-up: Tommy McMillen and Sean King III
McMillen proved once again that he is ready to be promoted to stardom after entertaining the fans all sorts of back and forth fighting against Rakhi week. The two men went all out in the opening bell, which saw each man have his shining moments before McMillen turned it around in the third round and took over the fight to lock up the unanimous decision victory. To make matters even more impressive, he was put in danger in the second round after being hit and knocked to the floor by a sneaky overhand. He weathered the storm and came out like a bat out of hell for three rounds, put his foot all the way down on the accelerator and took it to Rahiki, flooring him with a vicious right hand and then pounding him the rest of the round to win by unanimous decision. He has a lot of momentum and hype behind him and is showing that it is all justified. He also took home his third in a row post fight bonus award. As for The King III, he gave himself a memorable UFC debut by absolutely destroying Jessie Rivas in less than a minute with a a vicious kick that made him count. He improves to 7-0 since making his pro debut just 17 months ago. UFC debuts don’t get much better than this, especially when they come with an added bonus of $100,000.
Honorable Mention: Alexa Grasso
Grasso made another emphatic statement last night as he marched towards another title visit with a huge win No. 2 in the women’s flyweight rankings fighter in the world, Manon Fiorot. While Fiorot had some good moments and cut Grasso loose, it was the Mexican-born fighter who controlled the majority of the fight and did more than enough to close out the unanimous decision victory. When you combine that impressive win with him absolute destruction about Maycee Barber in his previous fight, Grasso leaves no doubt that he deserves another UFC gold.
Biggest Losers: Jessie Rosas and Marwan Rahiki
I hate kicking a guy when he’s down, but Rosas had a forgettable UFC debut after that knockout in the first 36 seconds of the fight. Indeed, Sean King III was able to grab him early in the fight and take him for a ride, getting as high as he could before. slams him to the canvasknocks him out cold. To make matters worse, he ate three big shots from his nemesis who wanted to make sure the job was done. It’s a huge blow for Rosas after his initials debut earlier this year was shelved. Now he needs to go home and take time to get over this fight and hope he gets another chance to make a better impression in the Octagon. As for Rahik, while he entertained and brought home a $100,000 post-fight bonus check for fighting him Tommy McMillenhe kicks himself for a while after blowing a huge chance. After dropping “The Gun” in the second round, Rahiki was unable to take advantage or finish his opponent, who was clearly a few good shots away. Although it looked like Rahiki was trying to kill, there was just no sense of urgency. While some felt he was pacing himself, he seemed to run out of gas and couldn’t string together strong enough combinations to get the job done. This allowed McMillen to reach the third round, where he eventually took over to secure the unanimous decision win.
