The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Glendale, Arizona later TONIGHT (Saturday, September 12) UFC 4 night Inside the Desert Diamond Arena. Title Paramount+-The streamed event will take place between the featherweight fight Jean Silva and Jose Delgado. Evening at the joint main event Brandon Moreno starts to fight Joseph Morales in a flyweight fight.

After suffering the first loss of his UFC career Diego Lopes via knockout (see it again here), Jean Silva was able to get back on track by defeating him in his next match Arnold Allen by unanimous decision. Currently ranked 6th place in featherweight“Issand” hopes to get into the Top 5 to get a little closer to the championship. He can be a a bit of a wild card at timesbut Silva is just as dangerous (and entertaining). However, he needs to make sure that he can prove that he can defeat a high level foe. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to do that in this fight because Delgado is currently unranked. Silva was originally set to face off Yair Rodriguez (No. 5), before “El Pantera” withdrew from the fight. Still, a win here is paramount for Silva.
Delgado has a strong opportunity to upset a top 10 ranked foe after Rodriguez stepped in, which will immediately put him in the rankings. He is 4-1 so far in his young UFC career, with his only loss coming against Nathaniel Wood a year ago. The 28-year-old hasn’t exactly been making waves, but he could make big waves by defeating Silva. Of his 12 wins, he has 10 finishes, so he’s also in action. But to be able to upset someone like “Lord” you have to be almost perfect. Silva is on a mission for gold and determined not to let anything stand in his way, but if he loses sight of Delgado even for a second, it could turn into his worst nightmare.
Original card vs. Actual Card/Injuries:
The original main event was supposed to feature an exciting match between Silva and Yair Rodriguez before “El Pantera” withdrew for unknown reasons. Kelvin Gastelum and Yousri Belgaroui They were expected to go down in the event before Gastelum pulled out and replaced him Djorden Santoswho is just 1-2 under the UFC banner, while Belgaroui is 2-0.
Jessie Rosas and Sean King opens the event with a battle of two UFC rookies. Rosas is 8-1, while King is undefeated at 6-0. Rosas – younger brother Raul Rosas Jr. — was was to make his debut earlier this year before he was forced out. But after was reportedly cut due to a promotionhe now makes his debut against a man who also wants to stand out right away.
What the “Preliminaries” look like:
Tim Elliott made great strides towards a good ranking before getting there Steve Ercegwho snapped his two-game winning streak earlier this year. But the longtime veteran has a good chance to put it all behind him if he can secure a win against the streak. Edgar Chairezwho has won three straight fights, two via first round submission. Chairez was upset that he didn’t get a base card slot as he is, after all, a full-blooded Mexican. Still, he has a chance to make UFC suitors regret their decision here with a great performance and a win.
Rafa Garcia had a rocky start to his UFC career, losing his first two fights and going 4-4 through his first eight contests. However, he has won three in a row since then and is looking for his fourth going into the match Zhu Rongwho is 6-1 under the UFC umbrella when his lone loss came Chris Padilla.
Regina Tarin was able to impress with a knockout in his UFC debut earlier this year Ernesta Kareckaiteimproving their record to 8-0. He has a tougher time in his second year with the longtime UFC veteran, JJ Aldrichwho is 4-1 in his last five UFC bouts.
Drakkar Klose has had a quiet nice run in recent years, going 5-1 over his last six, which includes his last win Edson Barboza. She’s trying to keep her run going against a guy who’s even hotter Thomas Gantt is currently undefeated at 12-0, which includes a second-round knockout victory Artur Minev earlier this year.
Ignacio Bahamondes now finds himself in a must-win situation after losing his last two fights. A third straight defeat would be terrible for him because he can cut very well. He faces Muslim Salikhovwho is coming off a heavy loss Riot medicwho knocked him out in just 63 seconds (see it again here). Salihov also needs a win in the worst way, so that his self-confidence does not wither further.
Dan Ige needs a win because “100 Grand” – yes, he changed his nickname to “50K” when The UFC changed its bonus payouts — is currently on a two-fight losing streak and has lost four of his last five fights. If we take that back a bit, he’s 4-8 in his last 12 outings. Should he lose David Martinezcan cut him very well. This fight is confusing because while Ige is struggling, Martinez has won 10 straight, including 3-0 under the UFC banner.
Brandon Moreno has seen better days inside the Octaogni. The former UFC Flyweight World Champion is currently on a two-fight losing streak, losing four of his last six fights overall. His slide has seen him fall out of the Top 5, and a third straight loss will make the championship fight harder to come by. That’s hard to understand from a man who at one point sat on top of the world. He doesn’t mind a walk in the park Joseph Moraleswho is currently on a five-fight winning streak, two of which have come under the UFC banner. It’s his second promotion after getting the walk-on papers in 2018 after going 1-3. Since his return, he won his first two fights by submission and now has a chance to lock up the biggest win of his career by upsetting “The Assassin Baby.”
In a battle where two great men lose, Curtis Blaydes starts to fight Waldo Cortes-Acosta. Blaydes is currently ranked In Ward No. 6 and was last seen hitting the brakes Josh Hockey at UFC 327 in an absolute massacredropping him to 2-3 in his last five fights. “Razor” hasn’t looked like the dominant force he was early in his UFC career, but he has a chance to remind everyone what he can do here. As for Cortes-Acosta (No. 5), he snapped his three-game winning streak Alexander Volkovslowing his momentum. He can bring it right back with an impressive win over Blaydes and put himself back in the maelstrom of a division that needs as many stars as possible.
Last we saw Alexa Grassohe had one of the biggest and fiercest finishes we’ve ever seen, knocking out (and then submission) Maycee Barber last March (see it here). Of course, only one form of victory can be attributed to him, and the result was a knockout victory for the star of Mexican origin. The former women’s flyweight world champion still has championship aspirations, and a win over the division’s No. 2 ranked fighter is a good way to get there. speaking of which Manon Fiorot wins by first round knockout Jasmine Jasudavicius (see it here), making him 8-1 inside the octagon. The winner of this fight could cement himself as the No. 1 contender in that division is out of his mind at the moment.
Tommy McMillen has been impressive to begin his UFC career, leading him to a prime spot on the card, much to the chagrin of some. The “gun” is insured two first round knockout wins under the UFC banner, improving his overall record to 11-0. He has the looks, skills and personality to make him a future star following in his mentor’s footsteps, Sean O’Malley. McMillen has stopped all but one of his foes so far and is looking to lock up his third straight stoppage victory. Marwan Rahikiwho is also undefeated at 9-0. “Freaky” has won all of his fights by stoppage, five in the first round. He got off to a great start to his UFC run, winning both of his fights by knockout. This fight has an all-out war.
