While WWE Superstar Braun Breaker is widely believed to be the son of former tag team champion Rick Steiner, a distinctive mark on his upper left arm has led to some speculation that his real father may be retired wrestler Bill “Goldberg” Goldberg.
“The resemblance is uncanny,” dermatologist Dr. Bob Ponovich said of the matching birthmarks, which he says suggest a direct genetic origin.
“Birthmarks rarely occur outside of immediate family relationships.”
The hereditary nature of such birthmarks can be seen in The Mysterios, Rey and Dominic, who both suffer from unsightly birthmarks covering most of their bodies, which is why neither wrestles shirtless.
The match between Rick Steiner and Goldberg, “Winner is Braun’s father” stipulation. is reportedly under discussion for WrestleMania.
