Being a top star for WWE for over a decade nowyou’d think Roman Reigns would feel pretty good about how his WWE career has gone. And he feels good about it when it comes to the last half decade plus or so. Until then, however, As for “Tribal Chief”, everything is a bit more mixed. in an interview with “I don’t like” To promote his new movie Street Fighter, Reigns was asked by host Sam Roberts when he felt he really came together as a performer. At the time, Reigns revealed some of his frustrations with his WWE run before the Bloodline storyline began.
“It didn’t click until … honestly until COVID hit and I left and I had all the dog food,” Raines said. “It was just one of those situations where I just wasn’t creatively… I just wasn’t in line. I didn’t like what I was doing, I didn’t like how I was being portrayed. And it was just time to take over completely. And the proof is in the pudding.”
Although Reigns gained popularity and success early on as one third of The Shield with Seth Rollins and AEW star John Moxley, he began to receive a more hostile reaction from fans when WWE tried to make him a singles star. Despite being a multiple world champion from 2015 to 2019, Reigns’ run was considered polarizing at the time, with many criticizing WWE’s persistence in pushing him and some of his storylines. His feud with Baron Corbyn in late 2019/early 2020 was particularly derided, especially following the angle that Corbin and Dolph Ziggler covered Reigns in dog food.
