Bully Ray detailed why he thinks the LA Knight has no chance of beating Roman Reigns at WWE Money in the Bank.
Ray appreciated Knight and Reigns segment this week’sWWE Raw:,” where the latter received a standing ovation from the fans despite Knight being a babyface. The WWE Hall of Fame says:Destroyed gap“that it was a clear indication that Knight might not get the better of Reigns this weekend.
“This is over before it even started. LA Knight is standing in the ring, I think he says a few things, whatever, and then Roman’s music hits. Listen to the crowd as Roman’s music plays. From then on, it ends,” Ray said. “When Roman’s music came on, there was a roar from the crowd. They call it a crowd roar because it’s low and it’s a roar and it’s like a lion’s roar. I sat at home and said: “It’s over.” You can’t lead that kind of reaction. He already has them in the palm of his hand when that reaction reverberates in the arena.”
Rey argued that while the LA Knight is good on the mic, there are many who can compete with Reigns, naming only a few who could match the WWE World Heavyweight Champion on the mic.
“And it’s not like CM Punk is in the ring. It’s not like John Cena is in the ring. It’s not like Paul Heyman is in the ring. There are no mic masters in the ring who can turn that around. I know the history of LA Knight on the mic. That’s good, but I don’t think he has the tools to box. Roma, and those it embraces, are childish at best,” he added.
The tag team legend believes Knight’s ability on the mic wasn’t enough to match Reigns’ reaction from the crowd.
