Aminata took it to Monet to start the fight. Monet quickly goes for the Statement Maker, but Aminata counters with Chocolate Kisses. Monet rolled to the apron to try to collect himself and caught Aminata in the ropes where he hit a Dragon Screw. Monet followed Aminata with a meteor from the apron to the floor.
The opponent headbutted Monet and nearly pinned him. He dropped Monae again with a series of lariats and then a springboard. Monet dodged a boot slide into the corner and Aminata almost rolled him up again. The champion looked for the three amigos and hit two before Aminata countered the third with a neckbreaker.
Monet hit a backstab and then a sunset flip powerbomb in the corner but Aminata dodged a meteor. He hits a double kick to Monet’s chest, but Monet kicks out. The pair fought to the outside, where Monae hit her opponent with a leg drop to send her face first into a chair, and Aminata countered Monae to do the same to her. He hit Monet with a big kick off the apron and the champion went into a chair.
Aminata went to the top rope again, but Mone rolled out of the way for a double stomp. He connected with a lung blower and then the announce maker for the win. After the game, Mone was confronted his AEW WrestleDream rival, Tekla. He took the spear but avoided Thecla’s fight.
