9th week DWCS Season 10 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas on Oct. 6, securing a finish in the middle of the opening round to earn a spot on the UFC roster.

LaGrange took the fight on two weeks notice and moved up a weight class for the opportunity. He weighed in at 199.5 pounds and was a +400 underdog in the light heavyweight bout, but proved himself wrong with his performance, impressing UFC CEO Dana White and offer matchmakers.
“It feels good,” LaGrange said in his post-fight interview. “I’m happy to be here and I’m ready to put on a show for the UFC.”
When asked when he would like to return for his UFC debut, LaGrange said he will take whatever the UFC offers him.
“I mean, I’m always ready,” LaGrange added. “I took this fight on two weeks notice so you know… I’m always ready. I train all year round so I’m ready whenever the UFC calls me.”
