The last edition of the Solheim Cup kicks off on Friday in the Netherlands – and in the early hours of Friday morning for those in the States – as Europe tries to oust the Americans and take the Cup back home. Here’s what you need to know.
How to watch the Solheim Cup Friday
The last Solheim Cup, in 2024 in Virginia, was highlighted by a Sunday singles showdown between stars Nelly Korda and Charley Hull. Hull won easily, 6 and 4, although the Americans also won the event, 15.5-12.5.
Now those two will meet again on the first day of the 2026 edition, although this time alongside their teammates.
Korda will pair up with Allisen Corpuz and Hull with Lottie Woad in the first of four foursomes (alternate shot) matches on Friday. They’ll kick off at 1:40 a.m. ET, with three games to four to follow. (Korda and Corpuz are a combined 4-0 in four games in 2023 and 2024.)

This is the 20th game of the Solheim Cup and will take place at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, the Netherlands. The USA leads the all-time series 11-8. Before the Americans won in 2024, Europe won in 2019, 2021 and retained the Cup when the teams tied in 2023.
