Canadian striker Colton Yellow Horn is the latest signing that the Glasgow Clan will announce ahead of the 2021-22 season.

The 34-year-old has spent eight of the last nine seasons in Europe and scored notable goals in almost every one of them.

The Yellow Horn, which initially signed for Fehérvár AV19 in the EBEL in 2013, was a successful goalscorer in the EBEL (now ICEHL). In seven seasons he scored 107 goals in 257 games, a total of around 245 points. He spent three seasons in Znojmo and two in Graz after returning from the Asia League in summer 2015, where the Alberta Native scored 59 points in 47 games.

After his release from Graz at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, Gelbes Horn reached 11 + 23 in 32 games for Nitra in Slovakia. Last season he won the cross-border first division of Hungary with Csíkszereda and finished the regular season with 16 + 29 in only 30 games.

“I am very excited to have Colton join our team. He is a veteran, a true theater producer and has great success in Europe and North America, ”said head coach Malcolm Cameron.

“Colton is a really dynamic guy and has been a top player on every team he’s played with. I saw him in the first division in Romania several times last year and he was a winner there.

“He’s got an NHL shot, he’s very patient with the puck and can make the kind of passes that most players at this level can’t. It’s great to have him on board. “
