Women’s Big Bash League: WBBL announces ‘Team of the Tournament’ for its seventh season



the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) has officially announced the “Team of the Tournament”. The specialty team consists of some of the top performers who have helped their respective franchises shine in the competition.

The four-person selection committee determined the best XI of the WBBL | 07 on Sunday. The players were selected based on various factors – wickets in power play, profitability rates, strike rates and contribution to victories. The panel also named the season’s leading coach in the form of David Saker.

The final of the WBBL | 07 takes place at. instead of Optus stadium in Burswood on November 27th. The Perth Scorchers have already confirmed their final seat after beating the Sydney Sixers by eight wickets Adelaide Oval Stadium. The second finalist will be determined in the playoff process.

Leader of the Scorchers Sophie Devine was appointed captain of the crew. The best XI features players from six of the eight clubs in the WBBL. Only two overseas players were selected in the team, including India’s T20I captain Harmanpreet Kaur.

Georgia Redmayne the wicketkeeping tasks were assigned.
