Tottenham chases a winger

In the middle of a Harry Kane-dominated summer, Tottenham has been quietly and efficiently handling its transfer business. You have already recruited the Atalanta duo Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romero and initiated a deal in which Erik Lamela swaps north London for Seville in exchange for the young talent Bryan Gil.

They have been further strengthened by the fact that Heung-Min Son has extended his contract with the club and Harry Kane has entrusted his future to Tottenham a week before the transfer window.

For the final piece of their transfer puzzle, the assumption is that Spurs will chase a winger so Nuno can switch to a 4-4-2 system.

Madueke commits the future to PSV

That winger won’t be the often-associated Noni Madueke, however, as the youngster signs a new deal with Dutch club PSV Eindoven

Announced on social media today, Madueke reiterated its commitment to the club, saying:

“Don’t worry guys, I’m here to stay”

The English teenager has been the subject of speculation linking him to Premier League clubs Liverpool, Spurs and Leicester City, but for now he is expected to stay in the Netherlands for at least one more season and even then charge a hefty price bringing him to the premier league.

Madueke was once part of the Tottenham Academy, but has since represented PSV 45 times at senior level, scoring 15 goals. At the moment, however, he appears to be another one prematurely sacked by Premier League clubs.
