The night of action, titled Hennessy All-Stars, also shows off some of the organizer’s talents from champions and prospects, all showing off their skills: Isaac Chamberlain, Stevie McKenna, Shakan Pitters, River Wilson Bent, Kaisee Benjamin, Idris Virgo, Brett McGinty, Tommy Welch, and Michael Hennessy Jr.

Eggington, known as the “Wilde”, was last out in May and won a sovereign points victory over the tough former world champion “King” Carlos Molina. With the win, Eggington took the WBC silver title and also got a world rankings as he approaches a world title and his future is now secured under Hennessy’s leadership.

Eggington said, “It’s fantastic to have a promoter like Mick behind you who is totally supportive and working for you, believes in you and gives your career a real boost. So I am very happy to be able to sign this advertising contract with him. I’ll do everything in the ring to agree with him, he trusted me and I’ll give that back to him one hundred percent. The only way left now is the world title and I think I can win it. “

Hennessy said, “I’m delighted to officially welcome Sam to the team, even though he’s been on our team in his last two fights, but it’s fantastic that he got the pen down on paper and signed the contract. I am thrilled to be working with a world-class fighter of Sam’s caliber who is about to challenge a long-earned and long-overdue world title. He will headline live on Channel 5 at the Coventry Skydome Arena on Friday September 10th, where he took a great win over Molina in May. “

Jon Pegg, who has directed Eggington from the beginning of his career, added, “Mick promoted Sam’s last two fights and he was over the moon with his treatment as it was all about Sam. He felt like a champion. With the win over Molina last time, he shot up another level and is in such a great position. Sam has the best team around as he goes for the world title. “

Only 27-year-old Eggington had a tough time in his nearly nine-year and 37-fighting career, despite having won British, Commonwealth, European and international titles.
