Preview Day 12: Medals inside touching distance for world’s best

Follow the action on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. local time when China and Germany come to the table at the women’s team event.

The winner will advance to the final against Japan while the losing team will advance to the bronze medal game in Hong Kong, China.

China will be back in the heat of the moment from 2:30 p.m., this time in the men’s semi-finals as the top-seeded nation will battle it out for the gold medal in this category for the fourth time in a row when they face the Republic of Korea as number four.

The day’s program is rounded off by the second semi-final of the men’s team event, where Japan and Germany will meet from 7.30 p.m.

Five years ago, both sides faced the same hurdle in Rio de Janeiro, with Japan leading the way on this occasion.
