by Simon Daish

Five exciting head-to-head competitions will take place on Day 11 in Tokyo 2020, one of which will determine the medal winner of the first team.

The game begins on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. local time, with Japan playing in the men’s quarter-finals against Sweden in table one and Germany in the women’s team’s draw against the Republic of Korea.

Then we’ll see China continue their title defense in the women’s team from 2.30pm in a repeat of the Beijing 2008 final against Singapore, while Germany and Chinese Taipei compete against each other in the men’s team match.

The day ends with the first semi-final of the women’s team event as fourth seeded Hong Kong, China, will meet hosts Japan at 7.30 p.m., with the winner guaranteed a medal in the Japanese capital.
