Bears Release Riley Ridley, Dazz Newsome is the latest indictment against Ryan Pace
The Green Bay Packers put David Bahktiari on the PUP list with Offensive Tackle.
The Green Bay Packers took a hard blow on Tuesday when they were forced to put their star offensive tackle David Bakhtiari on the PUP list.
Bakhtiari is facing a knee problem that will keep him out of his Packers kit for at least a good part of the start of the season. Fortunately for Green Bay, the Packers have another strong offensive lineman in Elgton Jenkins. He earned a Pro Bowl nick a season ago and could get off to the left tackle to avoid Bakhtiari for the time being. But how long will it be out?
Here’s what it means for Bakhtiari and the Packers to get on the PUP list as Week 1 approaches.
Injury to David Bakhtiari: when can he get back from the PUP list?
By making the PUP list, Bakhtiari will miss the first six weeks of the 2021 NFL season as he recovers from his knee injury. That means he’ll miss out on games against the New Orleans Saints (Week 1), the San Francisco 49ers (Week 3) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (Week 4). The very earliest Bakhtiari to be removed from the PUP list is the week 7 home game against the Washington Football Team.
As long as Bakhtiari’s recovery goes well, he can return home to Washington on October 24th.
