It must be very interesting that a well-known, shrewd trainer is just sending a horse from Newmarket to Musselburgh in Scotland. If the trip had multiple horses it may not matter that much, but the fact that a horse is sent all the way up must mean they are trying very hard! Make sure to check out our free horse racing tips uploaded to the website every night before 7pm. Let’s take a closer look at this horse below.
Sir Mark Prescott, who is based in Newmarket, is only sending one runner from his court to Musselburgh on Friday. Stable jockey Luke Morris will also make the trip north and ride Body line in Racing TV Portobello Cup Handicap. This is a class 3 competition that is played on the advanced 1m5f and as we know there aren’t many out there who can train a stator on the flat better than Prescott.
Bodyline is a well behaved Australian gelding and is bred to stay. This will be his first run of the season but he was close on his season debut last year so fitness shouldn’t be too important. He was last seen on good to firm ground in September comfortably winning a Yarmouth handicap over 1m6f so conditions should be ideal for him here. Bodyline might need the run, but it would be a surprise if the links traveled this far not to win, they just have to make an effort.
