Varese-based motorcycle maker MV could be about to launch a more everyday version of its bonkers 200+bhp naked on the market for 2022, as the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS is revealed in type approval documents.

But before you go thinking of the new MV as the perfect partner for a winter-time hack into the office, there is a bit of a disclaimer on this one… The power and torque of the bike are reported to remain at the 208hp and 86lb-ft mark – the same as the Brutale 1000 RR. So how exactly does the RS differ from the RR?

It is being reported that the RS is simply a more upright and traditional naked, sitting 25mm higher and wider than the RR. This points to wider bars that sit higher above the steering head of the bike for a more roomy and upright riding position.
