Martin Odegaard explains why he determined to signal for Arsenal

Arsenal sign Martin Odegaard again

One of Arsenal’s biggest signings in the summer transfer window was the signing of Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid.

The Norwegian had previously spent the second half of the 2020/21 season on loan in north London.

During this time, Odegaard would give much-needed creativity to an Arsenal character who relied heavily on Emile Smith Rowe in role # 10.

And on August 20thNS, Arsenal officially confirmed that Odegaard has made a permanent return to the Emirates:

Why Odegaard chose Arsenal

Odegaard’s return to England did not go well the but so far good.

Arsenal have lost the first three games of a Premier League season for the first time, although Odegaard only appeared in one of those games – starting in central midfield when Manchester City put five behind Bernd Leno.

The 22-year-old has now teamed up with Norway for the international break and recently spoke to the press.

Odegaard was asked why he decided to sign for the Gunners and replied:

“I wanted stability. I wanted to settle down somewhere with a lot of good players who want to re-establish the club at the top, with a good manager. So I think Arsenal is pretty perfect for me. “
