Marlins-Mets September 1 recreation postponed

NEW YORK – The New York Mets announced that Wednesday’s game against the Miami Marlins has been postponed due to rain. It will be created as part of a double title with a single entry Tuesday, September 28th from 4:10 pm. The gates will open at 2:10 p.m. and the second game will begin approximately 30-40 minutes after the end of the first game. Both games will be seven-inning competitions.

Tickets for tomorrow’s game WILL NOT be valid for entry to the make-up double head section. A digital voucher will be uploaded to each participating user’s My Mets Tickets account (accessed by clicking on the Voucher tab) and will be available tomorrow.

Fans can exchange the voucher for a ticket with the price and location for another regular season home game of Mets 2021 at Citi Field (including the make-up double, but excluding the subway series from September 10th to 12th the Yankees) or for a regular season of Mets 2022 is home game at Citi Field in April, May or June (the voucher cannot be redeemed for the opening day on March 31st), depending on availability.

Original parking tickets for tomorrow’s game will be redeemed for each Mets game during the remainder of the 2021 regular season. Ticket holders for tomorrow’s game with a prepaid parking card will also receive a voucher that can be redeemed for a new prepaid parking card for their selected game.

Free tickets for tomorrow’s game and the tickets marked with “NO RAINCHECK” have no value and do not constitute a rain check.
