After two weeks, McGregor tweeted his response to Nurmagomedov, going after his late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who passed away in 2020 after complications from contracting COVID-19.
Nurmagomedov shared his thoughts on the matter on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin ‘podcast.
“When he talked about it, only evil can talk about your father, like wife, children, religion. If you are a normal person you will never talk about these things, ”said Nurmagomedov. “To me, I think he posted this tweet [when he] drank too much or [did] some. He always deletes these tweets. When he becomes normal [he checked his phone] and said, ‘Oh what I did.’ Then he erases. That’s my opinion, what he’s doing all the time. “
Nurmagomedov added that McGregor’s comments about his late father show McGregor’s true colors.
“If someone is not with us, he is not even alive, that shows you what you have in you,” said Nurmagomedov. “That shows how dirty you are.”
