Jon Jones insists he ‘by no means hit’ his fiancee, says he was ‘molested as a baby’

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is busy.

Jones, 34, is under intense scrutiny after being arrested in Las Vegas on Friday, September 24, for domestic violence and police vehicle manipulation, a crime. On Wednesday, “Bones” revealed skeletons in his closet and denied allegations of domestic violence.

“I love the way people imagine the worst possible situation in their heads and somehow make it factual. I never hit my fiancée and our daughters were woken up after our confrontation. My daughters didn’t see or hear us arguing, ”Jones tweeted on Wednesday. “That’s really the only thing I want to clarify .. other than that, I’m looking forward to getting on without alcohol. It’s the first time in my life that I’m really ready to quit. I am happy to have the support of my fiancée, friends and fans. “

Then he retweeted a fan who wrote: “Actions speak louder than words.”

“Yeah, I totally understand,” Jones agreed. “That’s why I’m not going to do a big PR gag, hire a publicist. I won’t do that. I know it’s real. I know that I am ready. Time will do the rest. ”

Jones briefly deviated from his personal trauma.

“My life has not always been a great man,” he introduced in a tweet that has since been deleted. “To be harassed as a child, to lose a parent and sibling to illness at a young age. It always goes on, man. I have things that I have to deal with. ”

Jones previously struggled with the law: a hit-and-run charge in April 2015, drunk-driving charges in May 2012 and March 2020, and a battery charge in July 2019.
