Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz will defend his 205-pound title in the UFC 267 Pay-Per-View (PPV) Main Event against longtime contender Glover Teixeira, a five-round showdown designed for the October 30th in Abu Dhabi was booked.
As COVID raises its ugly head again, coupled with the fact that Blachowicz is 38 and Teixeira is 41, the doctorate sends title contender No. 2, Jiri Prochazka, to “Fight Island” to serve as a replacement for the case, that one of the headliners is not medically competitive.
