Ingram Will get the Shut Out in Rockford


Goalkeeper Connor Ingram stopped 29 shots to lead the Milwaukee Admirals to a 2-0 win over the Rockford IceHogs at BMO Harris Bank Center on Tuesday.

The shutout was the first of the season for Ingram and the Admirals. It was the 13th career shutout for the Milwaukee Netminder.

Admiral-Captain Cole Schneider scored his eleventh goal of the season in power play after 4:54 in the third period. It turned out to be the game winner. David Farrance Dance whipped a pass from the right wing boards through the neutral zone to Egor Afanasyev on the left wing. Afanasyev led Schneider with a thrust as he drove into the middle. Schneider stood behind the defenders and shot a backhand into the net for his third power play goal of the season. Afanasyev and Farrance earned the templates.

Admirals striker Rocco Grimaldi scored an empty goal at 7.15pm in the third period to seal the win. It was his ninth goal of the season. Mitch McLain and Matt Donovan took on helpers.

Milwaukee visits Grand Rapids Wed, December 22nd. The Admirals return home Thursday, December 30th to host the Rockford IceHogs at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
