Wilshere fell into hard times

Arsenal star Jack Wilshere once had a tough career, with his undisputed talent being hampered by the regularity of his injury problems, which is why he has been nicknamed the “Jack Wheelchair” by many.

In an insightful interview with The Athletic, the former Arsenal and England man revealed that he felt the door was closed to him in England due to his reputation as an injury but had trained with Italian side Como the preseason.

Wilshere made 198 appearances for the Gunners during his first term, but with Mohammed Elneny injured and both Egyptian and Thomas Partey defeated at the Africa Cup of Nations in January, could he return?

When asked about the possibility of Wilshere coming to practice with his team, Mikel Arteta hinted that it was a possibility, saying:

“Jack is a great guy and someone I used to share a dressing room with. He is loved here. Our doors are always open. “

Wilshere answers

After these comments, Wilshere made it clear once again that he would be keen to join the Gunners, even to train, and spoke of his admiration for Arteta, with whom he worked several times in midfield.

The Englishman said:

“I really enjoyed playing with him, sharing a dressing room with him. To hear him come out and say the door is always open is nice. I am sure that I will have a conversation with someone in the club in the next few days. ”

Could we see Wilshere in an Arsenal shirt again this season?
