Gamble Alert: Richard Fahey-trained runner smashed in tonight at Carlisle

Our resident horse racing expert Adrian Wall has always been an avid market observer. He’s spotted a pretty big ongoing game of chance taking place in Carlisle at 8:30 p.m. tonight. Don’t miss our posts on Twitter @myracingtips, where you can write to us directly and have a say. We also have our free horse racing tips every day and we’ve been in tip-top shape for the past month. Let’s take a closer look at this great game of chance below.

8.30 am Carlisle

Tonight’s final race in Carlisle is an interesting one in the ‘Professional and Amateur Female Jockeys’ race. The Richard Fahey runner Vice Agent has been subjected to a fairly large gamble. Supported in places by heights of 12-1 to 11-2, people will no doubt get stuck in the well-drawn Nathaniel gelding.

The shape of the yard has to be a real concern. Fahey has trained only one winner of his last 78 runners. This is a terrifying formation for a trainer with such high standards, so there are currently clear problems at the shipyard. Will his luck change with this runner tonight? The market certainly thinks so.

Viceregent was beaten well in Haydock in June, but he had excuses that day as he is a horse that prefers some juice in the ground. The ground is good tonight so will it be soft enough for him? All in all, I have my doubts whether this gamble can be landed. We have ground insecurities and a yard out of shape. Good luck if you have a game!
