I think Brandon Moreno’s title fight doesn’t make sense after all.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt will make his 125-pound debut against No. 7 ranked flyweight contender Kai Kara-France on the upcoming December 11th action map in a location yet to be determined.

This is after ESPN.

Garbrandt (12-4) urgently needs a change of scenery. In addition to recurring injuries and illnesses, “No Love” lost four of its last five bantamweight games, including the unanimous decision last May against streaking contender Rob Font.

“Don’t worry, Suga, I’ll be back if I grab this strap,” Garbrandt said to his bantamweight rival, Sean O’Malley. “Maybe you will be in the top 15 by then?”

“No Love” could mean putting the cart in front of the proverbial horse.

France (22-9, 1 NC) initially tried to fight their way into the UFC as the cast of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 24, but was ricocheted by Alexandre Pantoja in the second round. The resilient Kiwi would finally get the call at the end of 2018 and can boast a 5-2 record.

No more battles have been announced for the December 11th battle map, but you can expect this to change sooner rather than later.
