LeBron James will finally team up with best friend Carmelo Anthony on an NBA roster, as ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Melo has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

In a much-anticipated move, the Lakers will now have an attacking striker who is more than capable of replacing the production that Kyle Kuzma brought into the second unit.

On both the scoreboard and back wall, as Anthony averaged 14.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for the Portland Trail Blazers for the past two seasons (all while keeping 39.9 percent out of 3-point range lap).

Selected twice after LeBron in the 2003 Historic NBA Draft Class, Anthony is a 10-time All-Star and 6-time All-NBA selection who have become one of the league’s most popular figures over the past two decades is.

With Russell Westbrook joining the Lakers this off-season, Los Angeles has a legitimate chance of winning the champion next season.
