Fasig-Tipton Futurity winner Big City Lights is a son of Mr. Big
Pete and Evelyn Parrella welcomed Mr. Big to their Legacy Ranch in Clements, California to stand at the stud for the 2022 breeding season. Mr. Big, a son of Dynaformer out of the Stakes-winning Fappiano mare Fashion Delight, is the father of the 2021 stakes winners Big City Lights (Fasig-Tipton Futurity) and Big Fish (California Derby, champion of the 2 years bred in California )).
“We really enjoyed standing Mr. Big at Rancho Temescal and watching his foals achieve great success in 2021,” said Tim Cohen, President of Rancho Temescal. “We have decided to stop breeding and foaling in the future. Rancho Temescal will continue to serve all of our customers while leaving the breeding and foaling niche to larger California farms. We will continue to support Mr. Big at the Legacy Ranch. “
“Rancho Temescal is a top notch operation and I have enjoyed working with Tim and his skilled staff for the past two years,” said George Krikorian, owner and breeder of Mr. Big. “I am delighted to be able to position Mr. Big in another part of the state at such a great facility as Legacy Ranch.”
“Myself and my staff, led by Farm Manager Terry Knight, are looking forward to the 2022 breeding season, when Mr. Big will be added to our stallion list, which includes leading sire Clubhouse Ride and hot first-time sire Straight Fire,” said Pete Parrella .
Mr. Big stood for $ 4,500 in 2021. His stud fee for 2022 will be announced at a later date. Mr. Big will be available to view the Legacy Ranch after August 11th by appointment (call 209 759-3315). Breeding inquiries should be directed to Gayle Van Leer. 858 775-6262 or [email protected]
